BEFORE SOME WRITE ME OFF, let me clarify what I'm NOT saying:
1. Proper brand strategy, centered around the 4 P's and re-evaluated to adapt to changing markets, is absolutely necessary for all brands to succeed. It's just not always necessary for brand design.
2. You do have to understand the market, customers, and your client to design brand assets that roughly fit the product, category, and brand. But, this only requires a few intelligent conversations with clients and a little research. Not a "workshop."
